Dalek Two Zero
I'm gonna try and build a bubble blowing gun for my gunstick.· 0 replies
It will be tricky, and need a special construction, as the bubble launching bit will have to be right at the end.
I have a couple of potential designs to try, but wondered if anyone had seen it done this way before.

Dalek Two Zero
Next batch of 100 free Dalek toys in production.· 0 replies
I've been asked to do a Christmas lights switch on, and it would be nice to have toys to hand out.
Last year snow and ice cancelled my appearance, I expect the same may happen again, as it's a couple of weeks away.

So, having taken a slight detour with my Dalek Rhaegal build, I completely forgot about poor old Davros, and that I hadn't finished uploading all my models! So I've spent a bit of time renumbering and cleaning up all my models and have now packaged up all the console structure 3D print parts into one zip file. Pending approval, they should be available in the 3D print files as "SKV-DVA-C002 DAVROS-ASSY CONSOLE STRUCTURE". As there are so many parts, I've done a batch of drawings to accompany them, as otherwise they'd be a nightmare to follow! Printing will take some time, as there are a good 30+ printed parts. I will upload the arm rest separately, as they are quite large files, and I still haven't quite finished the drawings for those yet. I've also attached all the drawings for the panelling, which is made from a mix of 6mm MDF and 3mm hardboard. The 3D print parts slot together with the modelled in locator lugs. Once assembled, there are deliberate gaps around the edges, which are there to allow space for filler so that the edges are cleaner once they are sanded back. Please refer to drawing no. SKV-DKA-C002 (2 sheets) for the full assembly details. -

Thanks for taking the time to explain this - much appreciated. By 'inner core shape', I presume you mean the lines labelled 'inner shoulder frame - upper outer edge' and 'inner shoulder frame - lower outer edge' on the template. So I cut the upper and lower frames using these lines as the cut marks, reducing the diameter by the thickness of whatever material I use as the base layer cover for the shoulders, which should at its outer diameter be in line with 'B'.
