Ill put this message on the Forum as well. How do you get into the Dalek itself? Im sure when I saw a Dalek you got access from the side. Is this in the Builders Workshop Manual and Build Plans?

Paperback Writer
Hi all. I've not been that active of late; this has been to health issues that are now hopefully resolved. I have kept myself busy; both with my writing, crafting and my Scale model buids. I'm presently getting all the parts together for two further Dalek Scale models at the current scale I'm using. An Imperial Dalek and a Special weapons Dalek. The latter will be in grey. Metallic aged pewter and Black. Which reminds me I have to order more 10mm wood domes from Temu. For the imperial I'm going for the White/Cream with Coppery Bronze instead of gold. And this one will have a different manipulator arm. a Similar gun design as my Gold Emperor Dalek and I may opt to make it an Emperor's Guard with a different colour dome... That remains to be seen. After these two I'm moving on to a build of a Shawcraft design but twice the scale I normally use. Any modelers interested in metallic colours may I suggest searching Temu or similar sites for Nail Paints/gels. Quite a few of these can be hardened more upon drying by exposure to UV light like the UV Resin. Alternatively they could be sprayed with a clear acrylic lacquer. I will post build photo's of the stages. and; Again thanks to Temu, I will make the Imperial and Sppecial Weapons Daleks USB C rechargeable. (Thankyou npeople who throw away disposable Vape units for giving me free Lithium Batteries). I hope to be more active in the future... Till then... Be seeing you!· 1 reply

Hi all, Ethan here - the current owner of Darwin, originally a fantastic 2012 orange scientist build by 666Nemesis here on Project Dalek whose construction is detailed here in the original thread. With the recent wonderful updates from earlier in the year on Nemesis' new Asylum blue build, I thought members here might like to see that Darwin has been resprayed in a gorgeous 'Asylum' metallic red and given some TLC this year by none other than Steve Allen. Here he is with his brother Dalton in his current home. The other night on December 18th Darwin appeared onstage at The Clapham Grand theatre in London as part of the Gallifrey Cabaret - an unofficial fan event - in front of a sold out house to sing a 'Fairytale of New York' duet with one of the performers, Reece Connolly. The sudden surprise appearance of a 'live' Dalek went down a storm and was watched live by Russell T Davies, Katy Manning and other members of the production team to raucous applause - a testament to 666Nemesis' stunning work on the prop several years ago. Audience video of the appearance has surfaced here: Best wishes, all Ethan -
