Ill put this message on the Forum as well. How do you get into the Dalek itself? Im sure when I saw a Dalek you got access from the side. Is this in the Builders Workshop Manual and Build Plans?

Hi all. I've not been that active of late; this has been to health issues that are now hopefully resolved. I have kept myself busy; both with my writing, crafting and my Scale model buids. I'm presently getting all the parts together for two further Dalek Scale models at the current scale I'm using. An Imperial Dalek and a Special weapons Dalek. The latter will be in grey. Metallic aged pewter and Black. Which reminds me I have to order more 10mm wood domes from Temu. For the imperial I'm going for the White/Cream with Coppery Bronze instead of gold. And this one will have a different manipulator arm. a Similar gun design as my Gold Emperor Dalek and I may opt to make it an Emperor's Guard with a different colour dome... That remains to be seen. After these two I'm moving on to a build of a Shawcraft design but twice the scale I normally use. Any modelers interested in metallic colours may I suggest searching Temu or similar sites for Nail Paints/gels. Quite a few of these can be hardened more upon drying by exposure to UV light like the UV Resin. Alternatively they could be sprayed with a clear acrylic lacquer. I will post build photo's of the stages. and; Again thanks to Temu, I will make the Imperial and Sppecial Weapons Daleks USB C rechargeable. (Thankyou npeople who throw away disposable Vape units for giving me free Lithium Batteries). I hope to be more active in the future... Till then... Be seeing you!· 1 reply

Hello @Trackhappy . Currently working on 2 of the new S.S.R model B voice mods. Early next year, would you be available to field test and to oscilloscope test the new design? The current S.S.R model A will get a name change to S.S.R model E. This is the advanced version with transistor switching design and voltage regulator switching design. The S.S.R model B is an easier design and less fussy and less tempermental than the transistor version. Really would like to know the actual LFO speeds and the variable duty cycle measurements. Got in 9 more pre-amp kits. Got in 7 more of the solid state relays. Some parts I bought in bags of 10 to get the biggest discount. Looking to try and get a few Voice Modulators out there next year for some experienced members that are experienced vocal performers. They will be a bit more expensive than some of the other designs. But there is a lot involved in thinking work, time, effort and financially expense to get them built and operating. If I don't sell any, then I will end up with a lifetime supply of Voice Modulator's. -

Hi John, hope you're well. If this is still actively being updated I figured it was about time we submitted some details of our props for inclusion on the map! First up: 1. Location, Havering, Essex 2. The Daleks... Darwin, 'Asylum' Paradigm Dalek. Built by Project Dalek's very own 666Nemesis in 2012, Darwin was originally an orange Scientist. He eventually ended up in the hands of Sons of Skaro and did several charity appearances at various cons around the UK until May 2021 where he ended up in Essex. In early 2024 work to turn him into an 'Asylum' red drone was completed by Steve Allen and in December that year he appeared onstage at the Clapham Grand in London as part of the Gallifrey Cabaret Christmas Special. Dalton, 'Parting Of The Ways' NSD. Built by Steve Allen in winter 2021, this Dalek was given additional weathering to better resemble those seen in Parting Of The Ways. It has a unique ID tag designed by James Johnson. In October 2024 it appeared onstage at the Clapham Grand in London as part of the Gallifrey Cabaret Halloween Monster Ball, where it was operated to 'mime' to a scene from Doomsday. Hope this is sufficient - the map is a fantastic resource! Ethan -
