Has anyone else had problems with Outlook, and Chrome accounts. After a recent set of updates; to Windows... I've had to recover my gmail account (consequently one of my Chrome Accounts) My regualar and other email accounts in Outlook and rest or change the paswords for most of them. I've given up with facebook... Their Draconian AI and Bots killed acccess to ll my accounts; my original one was hacked by some Argentinian hacker. I might still try and recover that; but all my subsequent accounts eoither got compromised and the system didn't believe I was the account owner. And the last attempt to set up yet another account was blocked because I enteres a profile pic of my uglu mush. And to recover it before a deadline; I'd need to submit a photo of my Drtiving licence; three scanned documents and more information... Bloody AI's and their LLM's. Mark Zuckerberg will find himself locked out of his accounts and see haew he likes what he's set everybody up for. Rant over. Starting the New Year with one of my Twin Builds done; having some minor issues with the other. I'm also buil;ding up Materials stock fopr another Scale build twice my usual size... A Shawcraft Mk2. Wish me luck.

Sucks when you're just about finished CADing up a NS Dalek Dome, but the scribe lines around the eye cowl defies my construction methods. Doesn't help its a domed surface and the scribe lines curve in different directions. I tried six different methods now but nothing has worked effectively.... Any suggestions??

I was doing some deep research online and the dalek I have had my eye on, to make, has a particular shape.
Because when I looked at many photos, I can’t tell if this type of dalek is a Necros design of a renegade dalek design.
Would you say it was Necros or Renegade?

I'm not sure where I should put this so; as this is the place for stuff(Dalek related) that doesn't quite fit elsewhere... I assume that many of you are aware of The Internet Archive... Well I recently found out it has a load of Classic series Dr Who covering The William Hartnel era to the last appearance of patrick Troughton as the Doctor... How is this Dalek related. well they have all the episodes  featuring our friendly foes. i offer this up as possible research materials. Here's the link https://archive.org/details/classicwhos01-26-1963.  Some of the episodes are reconstructions; some animation (And in Colour too) The largest library is the MPEG4 one. Though for some reasonthe site player doesn't display the audio. right click on the three dots to the vright on the player controls to get a download option... As I said; for research purposes...Enjoy.

Hmmm..... If you've seen my Dalek Two Zero and Dalek 131 builds, you'll know I prefer the unconventional method of building the Dalek onto the power chair. I discounted this build from that design due to it being a lightweight chair, and the build idea being that it was all car transportable.   The 60mm x 30mm wood that I used to construct the support frame for Dalek 131 is cheap. If I discarded the car transportable aspect, I could potentially build the chair into a sturdy frame of this thick wood to support the Dalek and beef up the chair.   It would then be so big and heavy it would need to be moved in the trailer.   Currently the build will mean the Dalek supports its own weight and the chair pushes it about. Changing the design would put all the weight on this quite weak chair, but might make it easier to control and drive? I could buy a fibreglass skirt to keep the weight down, but cost up (I already have MDF and struts).   I'll have a look at how easy a change of design would be tomorrow.   Three options   1 carry on as I am, chair and Dalek separate but linked 2 switch to foot powered, change the wheel positions, chair won't fit anymore 3 switch to Dalek and chair are one combined unit    Or 4, leave it for good or for later - I already have a superb Dalek that I could upgrade, plus the wreck could be converted to a trundleable Dalek The garage is VERY cold...

Attached the chair to the frame.  Moved very sluggishly, but it's on carpet and not sure if the cold is affecting it (nearly freezing).  I need to drive it up and down the lane to test it really.  I'm debating on whether to just build it as foot powered, but I'd need to reposition all 3 castors and add the 4th. If I build it as is, it can be operated with or without the chair, but the castors aren't best positioned, it'll be easy to wobble...
