Hi, Could you give me some detail on your 2005 gun, as I would like to do the same for mine. Sound and the trigger used, many thanks.· 0 replies

Dalek Two Zero
Dalek Two Zero can only look 90 degrees left and right.· 0 replies
This is cos I used a cross beam to strengthen the thin MDF - I hadn't considered using thick 18mm+ board to make a stronger top to the neck bin.
This could let me look directly behind on one side, and over my shoulder on the other....but would it be worth the hassle, how often would I really use it?
Would the joystick easily go behind my head anyway?
I could also look at using 5mm+ board instead of MDF to replace the front of my always drooping bumper...
While none of these faults are mission limiting, it's hard to justify the time, hassle and cost of working on them though.
Getting a bubble firing gunstick, or a working pop out "EXTERMINATE!" flag should be my top priorities!

Has anyone else had problems with Outlook, and Chrome accounts. After a recent set of updates; to Windows... I've had to recover my gmail account (consequently one of my Chrome Accounts) My regualar and other email accounts in Outlook and rest or change the paswords for most of them. I've given up with facebook... Their Draconian AI and Bots killed acccess to ll my accounts; my original one was hacked by some Argentinian hacker. I might still try and recover that; but all my subsequent accounts eoither got compromised and the system didn't believe I was the account owner. And the last attempt to set up yet another account was blocked because I enteres a profile pic of my uglu mush. And to recover it before a deadline; I'd need to submit a photo of my Drtiving licence; three scanned documents and more information... Bloody AI's and their LLM's. Mark Zuckerberg will find himself locked out of his accounts and see haew he likes what he's set everybody up for. Rant over. Starting the New Year with one of my Twin Builds done; having some minor issues with the other. I'm also buil;ding up Materials stock fopr another Scale build twice my usual size... A Shawcraft Mk2. Wish me luck.· 2 replies

@Dalek Ro, as you read trough this thread, the answer you are looking for is likely there. If painting outside, I would scuff lightly, prime and paint. If doing inside, no primer obviously. My question to you, before I provide my advise, is what look (finish) are you looking for? Painting the inside of the Hemi will give you a shinny finish on the outside, yes but.... i see you are looking at using metallic paint. From my experience, and I may be wrong, metallic finish rises to the top so if you paint the inside of your Hemi with the metallic paint. the metallic look will be inside and not outside. you will have the core color showing out. the other thing to consider, will you be using the Hemi color elsewhere on your Dalek, if so, be aware that you would then have two different finish. that may or may not be fine depending on your desired end result. Bottom line, best recommendation I can offer is to try on one Hemi. If what ou did is order them from Ali Express, you likely got a few broken ones so try one with inside and one with outside finish and go from there Looking forward to seeing what you decide and have fun! -

OK, great. It would be me, one Dalek, one vehicle and hopefully a minder. I hope to be able to make it and put faces to some of the names of people I've met here! -

Happy new year to all! I've been neglecting my duties around the build, but i have some updates! So the chair has been fitted I will upload some pics of this when I can. This year I will be trying my hardest to finish him off as there is an event I would like to attend in March! I also have been provided some very nice dome lights from a couple of good friends these will be fitted very soon. My brother is letting me finish my build in his workshop so that should speed things up a tad. Left to do is 1. Attach the dome and cowl 2. Hinge the shoulders to the skirt for easier access 3. touch up the paint in places. 4. Hook up the electrics for the mart mod and other little things that need doing. I will post pics as soon as possible I will probably dump a load on here for you to peruse once I've finished the paint job. Thanks for looking! -
