You also need to consider the height between the lip of the bottom of the fender and the ground. For most of my Daleks, I usually have a 25mm box steel frame under the fender and attach the castors to the fender, so I have to take the thickness of the frame into consideration. If you are foot trundling, I wouldn't go any smaller than 100mm / 4" castors, as linear obstacles in the floor (like power extension leads/cables or expansion joints in floors) can really bring you to a screaming halt when the castor is too small to go over it easily.
