In 2023 I was invited to Beat Fest in Liverpool Central Library, and while roaming outside I ended up in 3 sets of wedding photos - one of which my photographer mate captured.
I've always posted this photo with that caption, so it made sense to say it when I met the Doctor's Wife last week

I wouldn't torture yourself with the paint finish. The original finish must have have been dreadful up close. Having said that though, you're right about the masking tape. It definitely does look like they've painted around the hemis, separately, after. Looking good, JK! -

Possibly, a LOT of clamps. @bec weir has a lot of clamps. Some people soak the ply to make it happier bending and strap it down, letting it dry with the curve. When it likes being curved, glue and brads may do the trick with fewer clamps. -

Are the two domes in this pic different greys (they look it on-screen)? The finish looks great. Is RAL 7024 the all-the-80s grey?
