Dalek Two Zero
Work continues on Dalek Two Zero.· 0 replies
Broken side support strut is being repaired then will be reattached.
New viewing mesh was too thin and had to be doubled.
New camera mounts hopefully optimised.
Some may need further work.
Waiting on jack to test new mic.
Battered corners of hatch repaired and straightened.
Missing paint retouched.
I want to test sound and speakers, see if any wiring can be improved/is incorrect.
Just 2 full weekends left before Sci-Fi Scarborough....
This work is impacting on finishing the TV Invasion Dalek in time.
The wreck also needs hemis that were knocked off on the 450 mile drive home sticking back on.

Looking to sell this Black 8” Remote control movie dalek as its surplus. Would consider a swap for any other of the Product enterprise Remote daleks if it’s a colour I don’t already have. It’s tested and works but has mostly been on display. Drop me a message if interested but was hoping for offers in the region of £65. -

Dalek gamma has been in progress for nearly a year now and over that time he has gone through several design changes such as the replacement of the skirt and fender, the new gun and the switch from the initial idea of a goon prop to Dalek six-ex in all its glory. Overall Dalek gamma is made out of standard corrigated cardbourd with a few exceptions eg: the fender. The gun uses cardbourd for the main innards and straws for the rods. The fender is made from 2 bits of 8mm ply and the neck uses cardbourd for the main structure with an old bed sheet so I can see out but not in. The dome is papier-mâché with a wooden base and cardbourd spacers on the inside to help reinforce it and give a mounting point for the eye stalk. The eye is made mainly out of cardbourd with a small plastic tub at the ends of it wrapped in masking tape to make the end. The hemis are styrephome spheres ordered off Amazon. All other parts were constructed from cardbourd. IMG_5083.mov
