Does anyone remember an early cgi render of a Dalek crawling out of its casing? It was around the time the 'Storm' design came out & the Dalek under the water.

Really impressed by the video of the mostly original 1966 Dalek auctioned by Bamfords in 2016 posted by @Mike Aubert in his build diary.

I've got a pot of silver paint, but I'll probably buy some more rattle cans

Above and beyond! The NSD plunger replacement, the 'Bunny Lamps', Those absolutely terrible eyestalks and even the the unique collar shape caused by Steve Allen's moulded in shoulder brackets and so many other fine details you've captured perfectly. Splendid work all around. Surprised you've not taken a crack yet at the mismatched black dome 'Dead Planet Guard' and Mabel!

https://www.circuits-diy.com/crowbar-overvoltage-protection-circuit-2/   A crowbar circuit is probably all you need for over voltage protection. It basically shorts the input to ground and blows the fuse. Crude, but effective. Just need to be realistic with the voltage you set it to so it doesn't go off in error.
