      Dalek Two Zero

Work continues on Dalek Two Zero.
Broken side support strut is being repaired then will be reattached.
New viewing mesh was too thin and had to be doubled.
      New camera mounts hopefully optimised.
      Some may need further work.
Waiting on jack to test new mic.
Battered corners of hatch repaired and straightened.
      Missing paint retouched.
I want to test sound and speakers, see if any wiring can be improved/is incorrect.
Just 2 full weekends left before Sci-Fi Scarborough....
This work is impacting on finishing the TV Invasion Dalek in time.
The wreck also needs hemis that were knocked off on the 450 mile drive home sticking back on.

Thanks i even painted the hemis black inside as well as the screws so that it is very dark inside the dalek to cut down on any reflections.

      Very neat.

Two things today...      I traced the bottom of the shoulders (collars included) onto the bottom of the skirt. Now I can fit the top inside the bottom, for transport. Yay!     Secondly, I glassed in most of the hemis. This takes less matting than you'd think. Tomorrow I'll spray up and glass in the last 1/3 of them.   Fitted some plastic trim around the base, it's probably temporary as I'm aiming for an event this weekend, and wanted to mould the fender later. Now that there's a hole in all 3 base layers, I've had a preparatory trundle. Lovely movement!   Appendages to finish off tomorrow, then it's finished (or close enough for a day out!)

I redesigned my hemisphere mounts as I found the tags that hold it on over time break off, so I redid it so there is another circular ring that is on the inside and clamps together with the outer ring and holds it all together very secure and looks very neat and professional. So this is what it looked like previously   and now with the redesigned parts   The inside circular ring has a lip on its 4 semi circles that aligns the holes making it easier to screw them together.     it looks much better and is more secure but you do need a screwdriver to remove them. So i am very pleased with that, getting there slowly. i should update my 3D printer STL files on here with the newer version.
